Flatwater Foundation
Flatwater Foundation connects newly-diagnosed cancer patients and their families with mental health support. Their approach includes both traditional and non-traditional forms of counseling. The organization has covered more than $6.5 million worth of therapy since its founding in 2010.

Heroes and Horses
Heroes and Horses is an intensive program that helps war veterans readjust to life as a civilian. Between 2008 and 2017, at least 60,000 veterans committed suicide. The program's goal is to help veterans find meaning and save their lives by teaching them outdoors skills such as horsemanship, back-country skills, and leadership. At the end, participants have the option to be placed in internships on ranches to "find meaningful work and keep progressing."

Well Aware "funds and implements sustainable clean water systems to drive economic development and empower communities in East Africa." Their systems increase accessibility to water in places where it is desperately needed. Simply having access to clean water can have a significant role in combating a host of issues in Sub-Saharan Africa, including health, education, and gender equality.
